River Erme overflows and causes flooding in Ermington this thursday (7)

Heavy rain caused flooding in the town of Ermington, County Devon, England, this Thursday (07), according to information from Southern UK Storm Chasers.

The large volume of rain caused the Erme River to overflow and affected several green areas that were submerged.
The meteorological station located on Pinwill Cres Street, recorded between 12:10 am and 2:30 pm this thursday, an accumulated rainfall of 34.70 millimeters of rain.
In addition to the rain, wind gusts of almost 40 km/h were recorded around 7:00 am. Winds of 36 km/h were also recorded at 08:40 am.
With the arrival of night, the temperature begins to decline over Ermington and its surroundings. At 07:20 pm the weather station already registered 9°C (48.2°F). The maximum temperature this Thursday reached 12.2°C (53.6°F) in the afternoon, around 03:00 pm.
